Meet the Team

Not a Traditional Firm

Click and Create does not represent a traditional brand building marketing firm. Instead, Click and Create looks to manage a portfolio of marketing projects for its clients that individually provide a return on investment, are limited in scope, and stay aligned with broader strategic plans. In recognition of the lack of brand loyalty in today’s market and price conscious buyers, Click and Create ignores the expensive and generally non-productive tactics of building brand through color, graphics and tag lines. Instead, we focus on results oriented work. This approach allows our clients to stay nimble, keep a focused budget and react to real world conditions rather than developing hypothetical target markets, market research and branding.

Traditional firms will generally start with a “top-down” approach, defining the company’s marketing position, defining customer segments and developing a brand. Click and Create uses a “bottom-up” approach, knowing that the best sources of business are those related to the current customers. Gaining market share can happen with new offerings and moves into unknown territory. It can also happen by more completely fulfilling current customers’ needs (up-selling) and using the current base of customers to move the company into lateral or vertical markets. The latter approach works based on the idea of continual improvement rather than speculative moves. In short, Click and Create would rather see its clients make money on every product that leaves the door rather than bet the farm on a new “vision.”

Getting Things Done

David Allen is the creator of Getting Things Done, an organizational methodology to managing projects and prioritizing work. Click and Create has taken these theories and applied them to the marketing mindset. This enables us to provide prospective over the long term, but primarily focus on executing individual projects. The method utilizes periodic strategic meetings to help formulate and prioritize effort within the organization. However, on a daily basis, it is the GTD workflow that turns strategic vision into viable tactical solutions. By emphasizing the very next things to be done, the GTD foregoes so-called “analysis paralysis” in favor of efficient execution.
